Americans everywhere have been praying for Melania Trump since she was hospitalized on Monday to have kidney surgery. Now, President Donald Trump’s reaction to news of his wife’s hospitalization has been revealed.
Daily Mail reported that Trump dropped everything on Monday to fly to Walter Reed Medical Center to see his wife hours after her surgery. He flew to the hospital on Marine One, making sure to avoid Washington D.C.’s rush hour traffic in the process.
“Heading over to Walter Reed Medical Center to see our great First Lady, Melania. Successful procedure, she is in good spirits. Thank you to all of the well-wishers!” Trump tweeted.

Trump spent about an hour at the hospital with Melania before heading back to the White House via motorcade due to a thunderstorm. Melania will be spending the rest of the week in the hospital, an extended stay that could speak to the seriousness of the needed time for recovery and monitoring.
“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition,” according to a statement from the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham. “The procedure was successful and there were no complications. Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week.”
“The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere,” Grisham added, referring to the “Be Best” initiative Melania introduced last week.
We’re glad to see that President Trump rushed to his wife’s bedside in her time of need. SHARE this story if you are praying for Melania Trump!
